AI or artificial intelligence is a huge part of the games these days and also has a huge impact on the player experience. Are the enemies cannon fodder or are they so intelligent, that they almost feel like that you are fighting another player?
The nucl.AI Conference – held in Vienna last summer – gathered together leading artificial intelligence programmers from various creative industries. Among them were Philip Dunstan, lead AI programmer at Massive Entertainment and senior AI programmer on The Division.
